AFTER TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS, THE STAR HEADS BACK TO HER SERENE 1.8-ACRE PROPERTY

n 2017, Jessica Alba splashed

out $9.95 million for this

8,829-square-foot abode in

Beverly Hills — but it didn’t

exactly come move-in ready!

It took 18 months of

renovations before she and

hubby Cash Warren could

settle into the impressive pad.

“I have an imagination and I

know what I want,” the actress

turned entrepreneur

explained of the lengthy

process. “I walked in and knew

within 20 minutes, even

though [the previous owners’

style] wasn’t our vibe, this was

exactly what we were looking

for.” The pair — who are

parents to daughters Honor,

11, and Haven, 7, and son

Hayes, 19 months — changed

the layout of the seven-

bedroom property’s ground

floor, opening up the family

room to the kitchen, which

has a breakfast nook and

butcher block island. Other

tweaks the duo made

included updating the

bathrooms (Jess went to

Restoration Hardware),

kitchen range and flooring,

and installing a folding glass

wall at the back of the house

so they could take

advantage of their

incredible view. “We

wanted a place to

watch our kids play

and grow up,” Jess

said of the family-

friendly estate. “This

is our dreamhouse!”

Jess described the

home’s style as an “old-

world French vibe mixed with

a modern French apartment,”

adding that when it came to

decor, she was “kid-friendly”

and chose “as many

natural materials as

possible.”
