to clash. Ever since
Meghan McCain
joined the talk show
in 2017, discussions
between her and Joy Behar in
particular have become heated
— and lately, rumors have
spread that Meghan’s days at
the table may be numbered.
“Meghan’s in a tough position.
She has a completely different
view from the others and she
isn’t willing to acquiesce,”
shared a source. “The otherhosts don’t appreciate how she
handles their disagreements.
She... fights back harder than
[they] would like.” However, a
second insider said Meghan
thinks her colleagues treat her
unfairly, and “she often feels
like she’s painted as the villain.”
Though the conservative
commentator has hinted that
she may quit — in June, she
admitted that “it’s not a fun job”
to constantly defend her “open-
minded” opinions — the source
claims she’s unlikely to ever get
the boot or actually walk away.“She doesn’t want to leave the
show because she knows it’s
such a great platform for her,”
the source spilled, adding that
producers want her to stay
since “all the drama keeps the
show a ratings hit.” (On July 3,
an ABC spokesperson said they
expect the cohosts “all back for
an epic year ahead.”) But if the
unrest continues, something
will have to give. “Meghan
hates the negative attention the
show has brought to her lately,”
the source said. “Every day

the cameras were rolling. “I’m
very straight in what I believe,
and so is she, so we’re going to
fight,” Meghan explained
