OK! CELEBRATES THE SUPERSTAR’S BIRTHDAY
WITH A LOOK INSIDE HER AMAZING LIFE —
AND A TRIP DOWN MEMORY LANE— and unlike some women in
Hollywood, she wants the world
to know! The multi-hyphenate
has been celebrating her
milestone out loud — with a
raucous, high-energy tour slated to end
days after her July 24 birthday and
appropriately titled It’s My Party. “I want
people to walk in and be like, ‘Oh, my
God, we just walked into Jen’s birthday
party,’” she recently said, “and for us to
rock all night.”
The A-lister has plenty of reasons to
celebrate. Currently engaged (with a
blinding sparkler, of course) to former
Yankee slugger Alex Rodriguez, 44, Jen is
still, after nearly three decades in
showbiz, at her physical and mental
peak. “Jen’s incredible,” says an insider,
adding that the acting, singing and
dancing sensation — and mom to
11-year-old twins Max and Emme, with
ex Marc Anthony — “has more energy
than people half her age. She prides
herself on looking good and working as
hard now as she did at the start of her
career. She loves a challenge and actually
thrives under pressure.”
Though Jen may have once been
apprehensive about the whole aging-in-
Hollywood thing — “Listen, at some point
they’ll say, ‘She looks old!’” she mused last
year — the insider claims, “That’s gone
now. She’s embracing the aging process.”
But that doesn’t mean she’s slowing
down. While Jen’s incredibly proud of all
she’s achieved so far, “she still feels there’s
a lot more to come,” says the insider. “She
wants to be a role model for people in
their midlife, to show it’s truly just a
