Nature Watch


The spirit of mountaineering has found its way to Montblanc’s 1858 timepiece – the ticker now sports a khaki
green dial and matching NATo straps, which are complemented by a bronze case for that vintage-perfect
appearance. The #throwback look is enhanced by fluted crowns inspired by period timepieces and domed
sapphire crystal glass boxes. And there are, in fact, four new 1858 editions that follow the bronze-and-khaki
theme: two 1858 Automatic models, as well as the 1858 Chronograph and 1858 Geosphere.


Meet Bell & Ross’ BRV2-94
Bellytanker Bronze. Referring
to the emergency drop tanks
that were fitted in the “belly” of
fighter planes, the term was more
common in the ’40s and ’50s. For
now, we’ll associate the word with
this vintage-inspired timepiece,
which is limited to 999 pieces.

in limited editions of 999
pieces per shade. Each has a
special case back design, which
incorporates all 63 colours.
