Scootering – August 2019

(lu) #1
Celebrations and
congratulations!
Martin Meuser and Paula Thomas are
heavily involved in the South East
scooter scene. Martin supports the Big7
S.C. with the custom show judging, and
Paula also featured as the scooter rider
sticking her boot out in the 2018 Big7
poster! This year Paula won’t be giving
Martin the boot or telling him he’sa
t#*t(!) because on Saturday,July 6, just
after the Big7, the happy couple got
married in Greatwaldingfield, Suffolk,
and honeymooned in Brighton. Apart
from each other,Paula’spride and joy
is her Lambretta Series1and Martin’s
is his Lambretta Series 2.
Congratulations from Scootering
Magazine and all our readers!

With the awards given out it was time
for me set out on to the main campsite
for the final time to decide on our
‘Campsite Custom’ winner.Asthesun
began to set the rest of the live
entertainment followed, and the
themed music marquees played out to
event goers, who were all immersed in
the Big7 love and in the atmosphere in
general. This year’srally was the eighth
Big7 rally and the fourth Big7 with
National status. The event is always a
belter and the weekend is always a
success. The venue is perfect, and over
the years the club has donated over
£20,000 to charity.
