Pallas’s Gull, Great Black headed Gull
Binomial Name: Larus ichthyaetus
The Pallas’s Gull is a common migratory bird. They are native to southern Russia andnortheastern Mongolia. During the winter, these gulls can be seen roaming in the
rivers of the coastal region of Bangladesh. This migratory bird is morecomfortable in salt water than in freshwater. They wander in flocks. Their
favourite foods include fish, shrimp, aquatic insects, etc. During thebreeding season, they form nests in groups on the
shores of their original habitat and lay their eggs.
