Brown Shrike
Binomial Name: Lanius cristatus
The Brown Shrike is a common migratory bird of Bangladesh. The bird comes to our countryfrom Asia's Altai mountains to Siberia Trans-Baikalia, Amur, East China and Japan for
warmth and food in severe winter. That's why they can be seen in almost all Townships of
the country during the winter season. They usually roam alone or in pairs.
