The Large Cuckooshrike is acommon resident insectivorous
bird of Bangladesh. Althoughcalled common, the bird is not
seen everywhere. They usuallyroam alone, in pairs, or in family
groups in mangrove or
deciduous forests. Perches onhigh branches of trees and flies
in search of prey. Their food listincludes insects and juicy fruits.
The breeding season is from
January to October, and they laytheir eggs in a bowl-like nest on
the branches of tall trees.
