Hair-crested Drongo, Spangled Drongo
Binomial Name: Dicrurus hottentotus
The Hair-crested Drongo is an uncommon resident bird of Bangladesh. They usually roamalone, in pairs, or in small flocks in mangrove forests, evergreen and deciduous forests of
Dhaka, Khulna, Rajshahi, and Sylhet divisions. Searches for food by sitting on forest treesand eats by flying. The diet includes insects and flower honey. During the breeding season
from March to June, they build nests in tall trees and lay eggs.
