The Greater Racket-tailed Drongo is a common resident insectivorous birdof Bangladesh. They roam singly or in pairs in plain forests, mangrove
forests, and bamboo thickets. It flies inside the forest and eats the prey.The food list includes weevils, moths, dung beetles, grasshoppers, locusts,
honeydew, lizards, and small birds. During the breeding season from
February to July, they make nests of leaves and grass on tree branchesand lay eggs.
