Bar-winged Flycatcher-shrike

The Bar-winged Flycatcher-shrike is an uncommon resident small insect-hunting bird ofBangladesh. It has a global reach across various Asian countries. Found in evergreen forests
and mangrove forests of Barisal, Chittagong, Khulna, and Sylhet in Bangladesh. They usuallyroam the forest in flocks or mixed flocks of other small insectivorous birds. It searches for
prey in the gaps between leaves on tree branches and catches and eats prey by flying inthe sky. There are many types of insects on the food list. The breeding period is from
February to August. At this time, they make a nest with dry grass, root, and moss on the
edge of the leafless branch of the tree and lay eggs.
