Red-vented Bulbul
Binomial Name: Pycnonotus cafer
The Red-vented Bulbul is a common resident bird in the Bangladesh bird list. Red-ventedBulbul usually roams in pairs or small groups in cities, towns, villages, deciduous forests,
mangrove forests, rural forests, forest edges, farms, and gardens. They search for food inthe leaves of shrubs and trees. A large part of their diet consists of insects. They also eat
flower petals, honey, and fruits. April to August is their main breeding season.
