Bengal bushlark
Binomial Name: Mirafra assamica
The songbird Bengal bushlark is found in all divisions of Bangladesh. It is a commonresident bird in the bird list of this country. They roam in open grasslands, cultivated lands,
small bushes, and fallows singly, in pairs, or in small isolated groups. It eats seeds andinsects by jumping on the ground, walking, or sitting on low bushes. From March to August,
nests are made of thin grass in shallow ditches or cattle hoof molds during the breedingseason.
