Orange-bellied Flowerpecker
Binomial Name: Dicaeum trigonostigma
The Orange-bellied Flowerpecker is an uncommon resident bird of Bangladesh. The birdcan only be seen in Sylhet-Chittagong Reserve Forest and Sundarban. They usually forage
alone or in pairs in high trees and undergrowth parasitic plants. Juicy fruit and flowerinsects are their food. The bird is seen only if it ever comes out from behind the
undergrowth. They build their nests in the thickets of tall trees during the breeding seasonof April-May.
