Red Junglefowl
Binomial Name: Gallus gallus
The red junglefowl is a common resident bird in Bangladesh. Although they are found insome other forests of Bangladesh, the Sundarban is their largest habitat. Scientists think
that all the chickens in the world are the successors of the Red Junglefowl. The RedJunglefowl is typically a territorial bird. They live within their territories and do not tolerate
the intrusion of others at all. They roam alone or in pairs. Cereals, grassroots, leaves,earthworms, insects, and fruits are their favorite food.
