1 Prime the watercolour paper with
gesso. Add texture by using a stencil
here and there.
2 Add some background stamping. Use a
softer ink than black for this step, grey
for example.
3 Add colour. Use the fluid acrylics,
spray with water and let them run. Dry
between layers.
To finish the project: To finish off the card I glued the flower in place. I gave it a bit of shading and also some highlights using a
white pen. I stamped and added the sentiment, mounted on a piece of black card. I went around the edges with black ink and finally
glued my panel down on a cardbase.
4 Repeat for all the colours. It ́s nice to
leave some white space here and there.
5 Bring in some more white again by
using gesso and the same stencil as in
the beginning.
6 Measure up the size for the panel you
like to use on your card and cut the
masterboard apart.

7 Stamp the main image in black. Also
stamp a “ground” for the main image to
stand on.
8 Stamp the flower on a separate piece
of watercolour paper and colour it with
diluted fluid acrylic paint.
9 Introduce the colours from the flower
on the background by making splatters.
Cut out the flowers and leaves.
