1 Using a round applicator tool, twist it
in the Distress Glaze, smooch it a little
on your craft mat, then dab it onto the
stamp.

2 Stamp the image onto your project. It’s
not easy to see it at this point!

3 Add some watercolour to the paper and
the image pops out.

to finish the project: After creating the layered background, you can build up your layers of ephemera to make your scrapbook
page. Adding more resist and ink at the end ties in the whole page. Adding some colour on the black and white photo using
watercolour can add a quirky modern touch to the photos too.

4 Spray some Distress Resist Spray onto
the page too. If you do this gently you
will get better bigger splats.

5 Add some watercolour paint to
highlight the Distress Spray.

6 Add more areas of resist, then ink and
paint to make a layered background.

Step-by-step... Resist Mediums

7 Spray some Resist Spray through a
stencil, clean the stencil immediately
after spraying.

8 Dry with a heat tool, then place your
foil over the top of the warm spray and
burnish it with your fingers.

9 Peel back the foil to reveal your
distressed gold foil.
