1 Cut a piece of 300gsm smooth white
card 130 x 190mm. Blend the 3 Distress
Oxide inks. Spritz with water, blot and
dry.

2 Stamp butterflies using VersaFine Clair
Nocturne and clear emboss them. Add
Distress inks and cut out (omitting their
antennae)

3 Paint butterflies with Wink of Stella.
Allow to dry, then coat each butterfly
with Crackle Accents. Allow to dry
thoroughly.

to finish the project: After finishing my background, I attached the remaining butterflies. It is possible to bend the wings slightly
and I used sticky fixers at their edges to keep them raised. The wire antennae can also be shaped when in their final positions. I also
distressed the edge of my card for extra texture.

4 Stamp foliage in green VersaFine Clair
using the Organics stamps as shown.

5 Bend wire around an awl as shown to
form antennae. Flatten the heads and
leave long tails for attaching to the card.

6 Gold emboss the fractured glass
stamp. Cut slits using a craft knife as
shown. Fold back the edges of each slit.

Step-by-step... Butterfly Card

7 Twist the wire antennae together as
shown. Push one set through the hole
in the card. Fix to the underside. Attach
a second to the medium sized butterfly.

8 Stamp and emboss words in black and
cut out. Ink the edges with Abandoned
Coral Distress Ink and rough up the
edges using a paper distresser.

9 Stamp the smallest butterflies onto
card and glue a matching dimensional
one on top, raising the edges slightly.
