Tip...
A Post it Note pad is
invaluable for masking
techniques like the moon
which I created on
this card.

Pretty Little Birds

By Donna Gray

I just had to create something nature themed with
these gorgeous stamps. To create my sun I used my
fingers to mix yellow and orange paints for warmth.
The sky was created using a blend of blues going
from light to dark. I wanted to stamp the birds just
sitting on the flower tops and this was where a
stamping platform came in very handy! Next out
came my favourite Posca Pens for a bit of doodling
which included the clouds, then when I looked
through my word stickers I found one which fitted so
perfectly!

Moon Card
By Donna Gray
The moon was created by drawing a
circle on a Post It Note to use as a mask,
I then used Distress Oxides in purple
and blue shades and blended them onto
watercolour paper. A little spritz of water
was added to give a lovely mottled effect.
I stamped with black Archival ink once
again using a stamping platform, which
I find is a great help for silhouette type
stamps.
