1 Use a wide brush to paint the substrate
with Chalk and Snowflake Fresco Finish
paint. Remove the paint whilst still wet
by dabbing with a babywipe or damp
cloth. Dry.

2 Use PaperArtsy stencil PS136 and
Grunge Paste to add swirls to the
substrate’s surface. It will take 3-
repeats to cover the entire surface.
Dry paste thoroughly between each
repetition.

3 Add strips of washi tape in the spaces
between the swirls, and over onto the
sides of the substrate.

4 Use a pencil to sketch scallops along
the sides of the substrate. Draw over
this line with a waterproof pen (I used a
fine nib Posca pen).

5 Stamp the alphabet strip stamp using
Archival Black ink around the sides of
the substrate, and over the top of the
washi tape on the main surface.

6 Paint a thin line of Cerise and Prawn
Fresco Finish along the curves of the
scallops, blend one colour into the
other.

Step-by-step... Monochromatic florals

7 Use 2 to 3 of the paints listed. Paint
swipes of each to form a colour puddle
big enough to fit flower stamp. Paint 2
or 3 for each stamp.

8 Place flower stamps & colour puddles
into stamping platform and stamp the
designs. Stamp additional flowers onto
plain white cardstock.

9 Add detail to the flower stamps with
a white gel pen, and use a grey brush
marker to add shading to create
shadows and depth. Paint areas with
Pearl Glaze.
