Watercolour Demonstration 105ABOUT THE ARTIST
Viktoria Prischedko was born in Moldavia and has
been living in Trier, Germany, for many years. She
studied art and architecture at the Academy of
Fine Arts in Kiev (Ukraine) and has been painting
since specializing in watercolor “wet in wet.” She
particularly enjoys using big formats. She is a
member of the Bundesverband Bildender Künstler
in Germany. Prischedko has received many awards
and her work has been exhibited in Germany,
France, Belgium, Austria, Italy, Luxembourg,
Switzerland, the Netherlands, Denmark, Poland,
Canada, USA, China, Japan as well as in Russia. For
instance, she has obtained a renowned prize at
the Salon de l’aquarelle international in Brussel/
Belgium and the Watercolor Painting Award of
the Salon l’Hivernal in Lyon/France. This year she
has been awarded the fi rst prize at the IWS in
Indonesia.
