It has alongerwheelbase than before, whichallows customersto

choose seven seats, although the thirdrow is only really bigenough

forkids. Despiteshrinkingslightly from 589to 536 litres fo rthis

generation, the CR-V’s bootis stil lone of thebiggestin its class.There’s

lots of head and kneeroomforfiveoccupants and lots ofcubbyspaces.

Hondahas sharpened up the drivingexperience. Thesteering

nowrespondsmuchmorequicklyand precisely,and the CR-V’s

suspension is also well able to soak up thebumpsontypical UKroads.

A1.5-litreturbo petrol and a2.0-litrehybrid ar eoffered. The petrol is

avai labl ewith 171bhp,front-wheel driveand amanualgearbox, or

190bhp,four-wheel driveand automatic.The hybrid has 183bhp and

is an automatic–ithas marginally betterfuel economythanthe petrol.
