It’s therange-toppingmodel in theCeed line-up,and there’s a

sharperfocuson design and driver enjoyment.Thismakes it rather

unique in itsclass,but it’sadesirab le model that’s bettersuited to

families.Despitethe very steeply rakedrearscreen, there’s anestate-

car-rivalling593 litres of bootspace,dwarfingthe standardCeed.

There’sgood newsupfront, becausebuildquality and thematerials

used look andfeel good. Thereare afew toomanybuttons,butthe main

snag is in theback,wherepassengers over six feet tall willstruggl etog et

comfor tabl e, thankstothe lo werroof.It’s good thatarear-vi ew camera

and parkin gsensorsare also fitted, becauserear visibility is poor.

The enginesare sharedwith theCeed hatc hback; performance

is best described as ‘adequate’,butfuel economyisg ood. Kiais

maki ng the ProCeed moreupmarketby only offeringitinhigher

specificationlevels,with GT-Line,GT-Line Sand GT vers ionsoffered.

Engineershavealsobeefed up thechassissomewhat, lowering

the ProCeedby 5mm andtuningits suspension foramoreagile

feel, while trying to retain thecomfor toft he standardCeed.
