It gets offto agood startwith its imposing looks, while the interioris

neat .Every modelhas atouchscreen di splay ,arever sing cameraand

privacy glass,while aDAB radio,Apple CarPlay and Android Autoall

feature. Higherspec Sorentos can’t matc hthe entry-leve lmodelsfor

value; theGT-Line Sispriced against some pretty prestigiousrivals,

althoughfewofthose will equal the Sorentofor interiorspace.

The sixth and seventh seats arerather tightforadults,but

arestill reasonablyusable,while the rest of the interioris si mply

vast. The boothas 605 litres of space in five-seat mode and a

positivelyvan-like1,662 litres when alloft he seats arefolded.

Everymodel gets a197bhp 2.2-litrediesel with asix-speed manual

or smooth eight-speed auto. It’s never thateage r, though, and economy

isn’t brilliant, either.Great comfor tiso ne of the Sorento’schief selling

points. It’sarelaxingcar,but its bulkmakes it cumbersome incorners.
