ere you among the 4,
people who scored a ’
Jeep Gladiator Launch Edition
by preordering a new Glad on
April 4 (also known as Jeep 4x
Day, although we’re not certain
that has caught on yet)? The

limited-edition pickup will have
a special interior look and set
of wheels as well as a tailgate
badge that reads, “One of
4,190.” Also, don’t try to get one
now—the limited run sold out in
one of 365 days.

April 2019 was an all-around
big month for the Gladiator:
April 12 was the day it began
shipping from the Toledo
Assembly Complex (where
it’s being built) to dealerships
around the U.S.

<|’19 Ram HD Lone Star, Kentucky
Derby Editions

I

s it just us, or does it seem like every other month there’s a Lone Star
edition of the Ram? Well, here’s this month’s: the ’19 Ram Heavy
Duty Lone Star. As with the others, it’s available only in Texas. It can be

recognized due to
its badging on the
tailgate and interior
(also by the fact
that you’re in Texas
when you see it).
Among its unique
features: chrome
bumpers, grille
surround, and door
handles. The 2500
starts at $37,645, while the 3500’s MSRP is $39,095.
The HD also got a Kentucky Derby trim. If you aren’t fluent in horse
facts or Ram facts, this happened because Ram reached 10 years of
being the official truck of Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Derby.
The Derby-edition truck is towing-centric in what it offers and also has
premium leather (sidebar—we have a quick horse question here), a billet-
style grille, body-color bumpers, interior color treatment, and more. There
are only 1,000 being produced. Pricing starts at $66,890.
