had his ‘58 Buick at the show and features an amazing paint job.

Daddy brought out from Switzerland his ‘49 Chevy mild

custom which features a metalflake and Candy painted roof.

Fritz came from Luxembourg with his Bellflower styled ‘59 Buick mild

custom which features lowered suspension, chrome steel wheels

with bullet hubcaps and a wild scallop’s on a white pearl paint.

The work done on this ‘48 Ford coupe is truly amazing. It’ll

take hours to list all the modifications done on this car. All

the work was done by Art Van Norel from the Netherlands.

Perry’s ‘49 Mercury features a chopped top, rides on

airbags and his covered in a fade-away dark bronze paint.

The turnout was very good with more than 150 cars

and bikes displayed during the weekend. The Flatlands

Motorama showed off some of the best custom cars

which Europe has to offer. Pale Johansen’s 1947 Cadillac

made its first appearance in public at the show. The

car was influenced and is a tribute to the 1942 Cadillac

built by George Barris. The car features a chopped

and padded top and several body modifications. Momo

came from Switzerland with his ‘58 Chevy Impala “La

Watson” which is a tribute to the cars built by Larry

Watson. The paint scheme on the Chevy was inspired by

Watson’s paint works and was awarded the Jack Hammer

pick. We were highly impressed by the countless body

modifications done by Art Van Norel’s on his Dutch

Gold ‘48 Ford coupe. You could look at the car for

hours and miss some subtle modifications, from the

chopped top, modified rear wings to the golden yellow

pearl paint. Traditional hot rods were there in large

numbers. Two ‘29 Fords, similar in style, were shown

in public for the first time plus Clive Prew’s phaeton.

The Flatlands Motorama was an amazing show

with very high-quality hot rods, custom cars and

bikes. Everybody had a great time there and are

already looking for the next edition. Miles and

Henry did a fantastic job with this show; we can’t

wait for what they will prepare for 2020!
