VERY APP HERE is a very capable email client and,
as usual, the choice of which is best for you depends on
your needs. For example, we loved Edison’s grouping of
messages and its ability to quickly unsubscribe to multiple bulk
emails. We were also a big fan of the way Airmail lets you filter
your messages and search results at the tap of a button. And
there’s no doubt that Spike’s approach is different and fun — it’s
also the friendliest email client of the bunch. Apps like Spike
and Edison are changing the way we think about email and how
we interact with it.
Gmail and Outlook are both fine, and if you’re used to using
them on the desktop you may want to keep using them on iOS.
However, the winner by a nose is Spark, thanks to the way it
integrates with other apps and services, its smart inbox, and its
ability to share messages and delegate responsibility. If you use
email as part of a team workflow, it’s a clear choice. But even for
