#46 - Bite into a Queen
Pineapple
Tripura is home to the juicy

way that you can leave without
having tasted one. But that is
not the only fruit you should try
during your trip, the State is also
known for their sweet oranges.

#47 - Experience the Life of a
Royal

The State is home to some of
the most magnificent castles in
the Northeast and so you have to
include them on your must-see list.
Be sure to check out the Ujjayanta
Palace, which is also a museum
showcasing the lifestyle, arts,
culture, tradition and utility crafts
of communities residing in the
region. Also visit the Neermahal

Palace that is located in the middle
of the Rudrasagar lake.

#48 - Catch the Boat Races

Held every year, during
August, at Melaghar, the boat
races bring travellers from all over
the country. Spirits are high when
crowds in large numbers cheer on
as the oarsmen race to the finish
line.

#49 - Surround Yourself with
Rock Reliefs

There are few places in the region
that are unlike any other and one
such example is Unakoti featuring
rock reliefs dedicated to Shiva. One
of the most striking archaeological
sites in the State, it is definitely
worth a visit. The site comes alive
with thousands of pilgrims during
Ashokastami Mela, which is held
in the month of April.
