The Director also informed that

the new terminal will have a

capacity of around 250 flights per

day, against the current traffic of

160 flights.

In terms of facilities, it will boast

of 64 check-in counters, 20 self-

check-in desks, eight immigration

counters, eight custom counters,

six arrival carousels, 10 escalators,

25 elevators, 16 self-baggage drop

counters and 20 aircraft parking

bays. The new facilities hope to

add to the convenience of the

commuters.
