BALLOON BOUQUET

The diagram to the left shows the top view of a bunch of balloons. The diagram to the

right is a view from the side, from a direction for you to determine, but one of the

balloons that should be visible has popped (recently enough that none of the other

balloons have been disturbed). Which one?

Move the numbers from the

outer ring onto the board. Each

number must be placed in one

of the five cells that lie in the

direction indicated by its

chevron. The numbers must

snake together vertically,

horizontally or diagonally so

they link in sequence from 1 to

25. (For example, 2 must be
    adjacent to both 1 and 3.)
    There’s only one solution. Can
    you find it?
