TATTOO EVENTIn these days of massive tattoo
conventions offering hundreds of
top international artists in their
line-up (supported by semi-naked
fire-breathing dancers and rock
bands) it's refreshing to see
someone doing something truly
different.
The Tattoo Takeover in North East London was the
brainchild of Dante Di Massa from Frith Street Tattoo
and Stewart Robson from Modern Classic. The plan was
simple: to bring together a very small, select group of
the best UK and international tattooists to work
alongside each other in a very low-key location; and to
under-advertise the event and give it only very limited
promotion on social media platforms. The result: a
super-exclusive tattoo happening.
