TATTOO EVENTOn the Saturday morning
the tattooing began in
earnest. The 17 artists
working were all friends of
Stewart and Dante, which
meant that – unlike at
bigger conventions – it was
a very sociable and
personal atmosphere. No
tables to divide the artists
and the public, no
entertainment, no trade
stalls, just a small makeshift
bar area selling
refreshments... and world
