Fimo fans will be interested to hear that it was fi rst launched by Staedtler in 1966, making 2016
its 50th birthday. Staedtler is celebrating with various projects including Fimo 50 World, which
encouraged people from around the world to celebrate their passion and create
10cm-square tiles in Fimo. The completed tiles
will now be made into an international mosaic
that will be auctioned, with all profi ts going
to Dr Ron Lehocky’s Kids Center for Pediatric
Therapies and the Samunnat community in
Nepal charities.
As part of Fimo’s celebrations, you can buy
limited edition Nostalgia packs of Fimo Soft.
There are three to choose from; 24 assorted
blocks in a limited edition box, 10 assorted
blocks in a sleeved box and 12 assorted blocks
in a reusable collector’s tin. For stockists, a
