three new bottlings, comprising the no-age-statement Huddart, 15 Year Old, and 18 Year Old. These together with the 12 Year Old ($135/
bottle) sport a sleeker new look without losing the brand’s identity as ‘the maritime malt’. The Huddart ($160), with its ageing in casks
that previously held peated whisky, rewards new fans with its structure and lingering smoky finish. The 15 Year Old ($180) and 18 Year
Old ($215) receive extended time in ex-Oloroso Sherry butts, so expect the typical Christmas cake spices and toffee notes, with Pulteney’s
distinctive sea salt finish. A little surprise awaits ardent followers: the 18 Year Old is specifically aged in the distillery’s old weather-
