different and to play a bit of a baddie... but hopefully

ictoria’s rape ordeal
has become a
never-ending
nightmare thanks
to the actions of her sick
attacker, Lee. Not only has he
evaded justice for his crime,
but he and his mum Wendy
have hounded Victoria about
her ‘lies’, prompting the
pregnant chef to decide to
up sticks to Cornwall.
Just when it seems Lee
can’t sink any lower, he twists
the knife further by delivering
a shock ultimatum – he’ll
leave Vic alone on the
condition that she issues
a full, public apology for
her ‘smear campaign’ and
pays him compensation.
The former car
salesman arrives on the
scene just as Victoria has
returned from hospital.
Earlier, she suffers from
stomach pains, so Robert
and Aaron take her to
Hotten General to get checked out.
As Vic is given an ultrasound
scan – which reveals the baby is fine- it turns out to be a pivotal moment
for the siblings. Robert, who has
always wanted his sister to have an
abortion, finds himself overcome
with love as he sees his niece or
nephew for the first time.
However, back in the village,
Lee’s arrival wipes the smile offeveryone’s faces, especially when he
makes his warped demand.
Victoria’s adamant that she’ll
never apologise, but Diane thinks
the monetary side of things is
something they should consider if
it means the lad is ancient history.
And, reluctantly, she offers Lee a
lump sum to clear off.
But twisted Lee won’t bargain
with the Sugdens. Much to their
horror, he returns, demanding
double the cash and an apology.
Robert is raging. Can he come
up with a way to keep Lee out of
Victoria’s life, once and for all?Maxine’s fairy-tale wedding to
Damon has finally arrived, but
will her dream day turn into her
biggest nightmare? Dr Levi
knows that the ‘dying’ bride is in
fact as fit as a fiddle, and warns
Maxine that the truth must
come out before she says her
vows. Meanwhile, when Sienna
has a tussle with her former
stepmum, she, too, realises
that Maxine has lied about her
illness. As the registrar asks the
congregation if anyone has any
objection to the marriage, will
Levi or Sienna speak up?Sienna, meanwhile, has more
than just Maxine’s fibs on her
mind. The toddlers she believes
are her twins Sophie and
Sebastian – snatched by their
father Warren – are staying at
the hotel with their au pair Nina,
and she is determined to take
them back. Sister Liberty tries
to talk the teaching assistant
out of it, but when Sienna
discovers that Nina is due to
leave that very day, she swings
into action and locks her in the
laundry room, before making
off with the young siblings. Will
she end up in prison?
