CONVOY IN THE PARK

T

he Truck & Driver stand is located right in the

middle of the show truck village, and we’ve

brought along some of our own trucks too.

Look out for us across the weekend. Dougie

will be armed with notepad and pen to get all

the stories of the show with photographer Steve

McCann. Team T&D’s Chris Maddison, Luke Vernon

and Russell Oliver will be there too.

We’re shooting a full video diary of the event and we’d

love for you to be a part of it!

Facebook Live broadcasts!

Truck & Driver is going to be broadcasting live on our

Facebook page, on the hour, every hour on both the

Saturday and Sunday. Obviously that depends on the

4G signal and if the Facebook Live feed behaves

itself, but we are going to give it a go!

Life on the Road Awards –

We will be presenting awards to three great drivers on

the main stage at Convoy on Sunday at 4pm. Our Life

on the Road awards are new for 2019, and the idea is

simply to give some recognition to people who often

don’t get it!

There are three categories: Hero

of Haulage, Lifetime Achievement

and Fundraiser of the Year.

Nominations are now closed for

2019 but we are very excited and

looking forward to building this into

something special, just for drivers,

in 2020 and beyond.

MAN has provided a Porsche

driving experience to the winners,

and each winner will be featured

in Truck & Driver!
