of Truck Sport UK, formed in 2016 with the aim of promoting
and expanding truck racing – and what better way to do that
than combine racing with a great big awesome truck show!

Kate Naginton
Admin team
Kate processes the judging slips and enters all the
details into a database, which will then provide
individual speadsheets for each category.
Stuart Nagington
Head judge
Judging show trucks is hard
work – trust us, we tried it
once! “Stuart is fair,
professional and independent,”
says Stuart Oliver. “He has a
wealth of experience in
judging show trucks and has
developed a consistent
system for doing so.” Stuart
brings with him a team of 10
judges – who will cover
roughly 100 trucks each over
the weekend – to score the 25
show-and-shine categories.
Stuart tells us: “We’ve
been doing judging for six
years, the last four with Truck
Sport UK. To begin with, we
book the trucks in and then
divide them into the various
categories. I don’t tend to
judge at the show, I’ll direct
the event’s judging team to
make sure it all gets done.
There’ll be a second round of
judging later in the weekend.”
Robert ‘Pointy’ Clarke
Pointy is the event commentator and
you’ll be hearing him across the tannoy
system talking about everything that’s
happening at the show.
Sean Taylor and Stuart Williams
These are the guys who are responsible for parking up the
show trucks as they arrive on-site. “We call them the ‘keep
people happy’ team,” explains Stuart Oliver. “We know that
people like to park up beside their friends and we try to
accommodate that as best as possible.”
Melanie Derflinger
Melanie deals with media and
marketing for Truck Sport UK online
and social media, along with the
hospitality for event sponsors.
