to be Released in
Early 2020

For those in the Northeast United States looking to take
the scenic route, Backcountry Discovery Routes (BDR) is
working for you. After launching the Mid-Atlantic BDR
last year as an East Coast introduction to the BDR’s
riding experience, the nonprofit has now designed
the North East BDR (NEBDR). Their latest route picks
up from the Mid-Atlantic BDR at the PA/NY border
and travels north through Maine to the Canadian
border. The new route promises more dirt, more
elevation and more challenges on par with what
they’ve mapped out west. In addition to free
GPS tracks for all their routes, the BDR produces
full-length documentaries and motorcycle-
friendly maps which are available through
Touratech USA and Butler Motorcycle Maps.
This latest addition, NEBDR, will be released
in early 2020.

Bluetooth Battery Monitor
The Antigravity Battery Tracker monitors your vehicle battery status
through a phone or tablet using their free Battery Tracker app (iOS
or Android, Bluetooth 4.0). The app has three main pages: Voltage
Test, Cranking Test and Charging Test. A simple interface makes
it easy to monitor the battery’s voltage, automatically check its
performance during starting, and test your alternator’s charging
operation. You can view real-time data as well as historical
results (31 days) that graphically displays dates, voltages and
more. The tracker will even send a warning to your phone if
your battery is getting low and needs a charge.
