Until you picture yourself in the express
image of God (JESUS) not estranged by
your skin colour as a Black man,
European, Asian, or American, He will
remain a fictional character of none value
to you. “Jesus was a dark coloured man
like the people of His day” according to
Billy Graham. In Genesis 1:27: “God
created man in his own image, in the
image of God he created him; male and
female he created them.”
But even more important than the
pictorial images of Jesus we see in the
world is seeing Christ alive in every
person. Especially those who are
marginalized, those who are persecuted
or those who are victimized in any way.
Christ lives in them.
It is more important to find Christ in
every person because each of us is an
express image of Him. Jesus died and
rose for everyone irrespective of colour
or race.
