The beast was permitted to wage war
against the saints and to conquer them,
and he was given authority over every
tribe and people and tongue and nation.

Father in the name of Jesus, Lord you said
your word is Spirit and they're life: minister
grace and understanding to the readers and
hearers of your word in Jesus name I pray.

My forefathers were highly revered idol
worshippers and often reckoned with
titles of chief priests amongst the people.
Growing up as a child in a small town
here in West Africa, I witnessed the act of
idol worshipping, the gruesome and
brutal killing of animals and sprinkling
their blood as sacrifice offered to the
creatures they created in the fashion of
man they refer as god.
They rob the true God of his glory by
offering sacrifices, adoration, praises,
honours to these images they created
thus making the Almighty jealous and
angry.
