This act of worshiping an image is still
being practiced by some Churches like
the Roman Catholic Church and others.
God is a Spirit and now is the time when
true worshippers will worship Him in
Spirit and truth.
The scripture in Exodus 20: 4-6, says
God is angry with image and idol
worshippers and a jealous God who will
visit the iniquities of these men who bow
down to worship idols made by men even
upto their 4th generation.
Over the centuries, Black people have
lost their power and dominance and had
to learn their own culture from their
colonial masters, making it
unfashionable for anyone to say that the
Messiah, the world most admired Jesus
was a Black man.
All of our lives, we have been taught that
Jesus was a blue eyed, blond haired,
white man. This image of a white messiah
appears in churches all across the World,
especially in the Roman Catholic Church.
