The word gospel means 'Good news'
The good news for all Israelite is that our
punishment is over long ago by the
atoning blood of the Lamb of God.
(Hebrews 10:4) Hallelujah!
The punishment of your iniquity is
accomplished, O daughter of Zion; he will
no more carry you away into captivity: he
will punish your iniquity, O daughter of
Edom; he will uncover your sins.
(Lamentations 4:22)
Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith
your God. Speak ye comfortably to
Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her
warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity
is pardoned: for she hath received of the
LORD'S hand double for all her sins.
(Isaiah 40:1&2)
