to join this esteemed group. Dr. Lackey is board-certied in Internal Medicine and

Infectious Diseases. He also holds a Certicate in Travel Health from the International

Society of Travel Medicine. He is a native North Carolinian. He graduated from

Davidson College and received his medical degree from UNC-Chapel Hill. He

completed his Internal Medicine residency and Infectious Diseases fellowship at the

University of Alabama at Birmingham, and has practiced in Charlotte since 1998. His

clinical interests include preventive care and travel medicine.
