appliquéstarstogoonthetrianglesections– ours
arecentraland35mm(1⁄in)upfromthebottom
edge.Peeloffthepaperbackingfromthe
Bondawebedfabricand press the stars onto the
RSofthetriangles.
Step two Topstitch around the stars to secure.

StepthreeStaystitchaninterfacingtriangle to the

wrong(WS)ofeachfabrictriangle.

StepfourTaketheBaseInterfacingsquareand

staystitch it to the WS of the Fabric C base square.

it rightside(RS)facinga secondDoorstopTriangle

piece.Pinandsewoneofthelongsidestogether.

Pressseamopen.Repeatfortheothertwo.^01

SteptwoTaketheropelengthandfoldit intoa

loop.If theropepiecedoesn’thavetapeateach

endaddsomenowtostoptheropeunravelling.

Placetheloopontopofoneofthetriangle

sectionssothatthetopendpokesabove the top

pointyseam.Staystitchinplace.

StepthreeTakethesecondtrianglesectionand

pinit RSfacingthe first triangle section along

bothsides.^02

StepfourSewthetwosectionstogether,sewing

uponeside,acrossthetop(makingsureyousew

justthroughtheropeatthetop,notcatchingthe

ropeasyousewupthesidesofthetriangles).Sew

backandforthacrossthetopwheretheropeloop

is toaddstrengthtotheseam.Pressseamsopen.

StepfiveTurnthetriangletopRSoutandcheck

theseamsandropeloop,thencutoffthetaped

ropeendsandexcessfabric/interfacing at the top

point to reduce bulk.

SteptwoSewthebasetothetop,pivoting

carefullyateachcorner,makingsureyouleave

a turninggapalongoneside.Trimoffexcessfabric

andinterfacingandcarefully turn RS out through

the turning gap.

FINISHINGOFF

SteponePushoutallcornersandtucktheturning

gapinsideand finger press the turning gap folded

fabric.^04

SteptwoPushstuffingintothecornersofthe

doorstop,thenaddsandusinga funnel.Addmore

stuffingneartheturninggap,thenclosethe

turning gap with a small ladder stitch.
