oneofyourGreenStarSegmentsoffabricon
topRSdownsoRSaretogetherwithalledges
matchingup.Pinalong the long edge where
thepipingis.^02
SteptwoUsinga zipfoot,sewalongthepinned
edge,1cm( ⁄ in)in(soyouare sewing along the
edgeofthepipingtube).
StepthreeOpen out the pieces and press the
seamflat.^03
StepfourRepeatstepsonetothreewith
anotherpair.LayoutthefirstpairRSupand
place the second RS down on top. Pin along one
ofthestraightedgesandsew1cm ( ⁄ in) in.

pieces.Nowwejustneedtofinishthepanelby
bringingthetwounsewnedgesRStogether,

SteponeLayouttheremaininggreenfabric
andplacetheassembledfrontpanelontop.
Drawaroundthefrontpanelwith tailor’s chalk,
thiswillbethebackpanel.
SteptwoRemovethefrontpanelandcutout
thebackpanelyou’vedrawn.Layyourback
panelontheunbleached cotton lining fabric
andrepeat.^06
StepthreeLayouttheunbleachedcottonlining
(RSupif thefabrichasa RS),thenthegreen
backpanelRSup,thenyourfrontpanelRS
down.Lineupall of the edges then pin all the
wayaround.
StepfourSewallthewayaround,1cm( ⁄ in)in
fromtherawedge,leaving a gap of approx 7cm
(2 in)ononeside.^07

wheretherearecurves to prevent them from

gap and give it a good press.
