It gave them the chance to cut out the rusty sills
and to also strengthen the Mini's bodyshell.The first Z Cars EcoBoost Mini was based on
this left-hand drive Spanish AUTHI Mk2. The
Gotenman conversion is of LHD design.The conversion uses a 2016 Ford EcoBoost
engine and also its 5-speed gearbox.The bodyshell's inner wings were removed, with
a rounded return, in order to fit the kit’s front
subframe and convert the Gotenman kit to RHD.This Mk2 still had an A-series when purchased.
A well-designed, modern substitute engine will
help to preserve valuable original engines.A Mini Sport front disc brake setup was chosen
and Gotenman's dampers were fitted too.Some Morgan limited edition gauges from
Caerbont were fitted to add a touch of class.Z Cars received the painted shell and then found
that the bodywork repairs underneath had been
