I placed one of the two conical spring
washers (shims) supplied onto the newwheel’s shaft before fitment.
The replacement c-clip and washer are now fitted on the
underside, ensuring that the clip locates correctly in the groove.
The motor can now be re-fitted in the engine bay. Don’t tighten
the retaining strap at this point as you need to be able to adjustthe body. Also plug the loom back into the motor.
Fit the replacement arm using the new clip, supplied in the kit.
Add fresh grease, if needed, and refit the cover. You can now
tighten the securing strap and use the wipers without issue.With a smear of LM2 grease the 110-degree
wheel is fitted and aligned as mentioned.
