only way to be diagnosed. Added
to this debilitating illness is the lack
of understanding and even disbelief

Taking a Chance

‘Are You Still in There?’ (April)
is a powerful account of
love, commitment, perseverance
and courage. Molei Wright’s
optimism is inspiring as she
tackles her future despite physical
limitations, vindicating her
boyfriend Jeremy’s faith in her and
the doctors’ skill and wisdom in
treating her crushed vertebrae.

Packing Like A Pro

I enjoyed the article about luggage
packing tips (Travel, April), as
we travel occasionally to see our
offspring and grandchildren,
and always find we have more
stuff to pack on the return trip – a
nightmare for keeping within the
weight limit. Another couple of
hints I have picked up are to pack
your clothes flat rather than folded
as that takes up less space and to
wear bulky clothes onto the plane

  • you can always stow them
when you get on. ROBIN KEOWN
