The Lion King
(Musical, Drama)

S

weet Simba’s roar is heard
once more in this new
incantation of the beloved
tale. This live-action version uses
jaw-dropping, pioneering virtual-
reality techniques that appear so
real you’ll feel you could reach
out and touch the animals
themselves. This is a heart-
warming tale of survival and
betrayal, the meaning of love
and what it takes to be a true
ruler. King Mufasa (once again
beautifully voiced by James Earl
Jones) prepares his young son
Simba (Donald Glover) for his
future as King and Simba learns
hard life lessons along the way.
Beyoncé sings the iconic song
‘Circle of Life’ and voices the
lioness Nala, while Seth Rogan
adds comic effect as Pumbaa,
the dim-witted warthog. Well
worth seeing on the big screen.

Men in Black: International
(Action, comedy, sci-fi)

T

he Men (and women) in black
are back and focused on
helping to protect the earth
against the scum of the universe. A
cool Agent H (Chris Hemsworth) and
newbie Agent M (Tessa Thompson)
form an unlikely team tasked to track
down and reveal the identity of a
mole who is betraying their MIB
team. Led by High T (Liam Neeson)
and unflappable Agent O (Emma
Thompson), the MIB team is hard at
work keeping the earth safe from
aliens. This new adventure was
filmed in London, Morocco, Italy and
New York, and won’t disappoint fans
of the original trilogy. Fun for the
whole family.
