KTM ENDURO RACING Team’s Daniel
Milner will not race this year’s
International Six Days Enduro
(ISDE) in Portugal, opting to miss
the event as he and his fi ancée are
expecting their fi rst child.
“My fi ancée and I are super
excited to announce that we are
expecting Baby Milner in October.
We can’t wait for parenthood
and what the rest of this year
has to bring. Unfortunately, my
commitment to my family means I
have withdrawn from the RecoveR
Australian ISDE Team,” Milner said.
Last year in Chile, Milner won the
Outright title and played a pivotal
role in Australia claiming the
World Trophy with Daniel Sanders,
Lyndon Snodgrass and Josh
Strang. Motorcycling Australia
has announced Husqvarna Enduro
Racing Team’s Fraser Higlett will
replace Milner and be joined by
Josh Green, Luke Styke and Daniel
Sanders. Strang was approached
for the ride but declined, stating
on Instagram: “I missed selection
in the fi rst pick due to the support
I was able to receive, or what
the selectors presumed I would
receive, and the [perceived]
reliability of my machine.
“This week I was asked to fi ll in
again after Daniel Milner withdrew
but it has been two months so
I have made plans and I wasn’t
chosen in the fi rst place so why
should I go now.”

THE AUSTRALIAN OFF-ROAD
Championship has been hit with
red tape again, this time in
Vic, with the fi nal two rounds
moving east to Hedley on
14-15 September. The event
was supposed to take place in
Penshurst but the AORC says local
shire council and agricultural
restrictions have given them no
choice but to move it.
The organising outfi t, Geelong
Motocross Club, will now co-host
the event with the Corner Inlet
Motorcycle Club, which ran last
year’s rounds at the venue. Hedley
will feature a cross-country
format on the Saturday and
sprints on the Sunday.

“Every decision I’ve made this

But, unfortunately Ferris
